On June 6, 2017, Alice Anna Dunse, nee Mislivecek, passed away peacefully at the Sauk County Health Care Center. She was born on February 7, 1940 in Hillsboro, to Albert (Slim) and Bertha Mislivecek. She was married to Lloyd Dunse on October 30, 1970. She was blessed with a son, Dennis, and together Lloyd and Alice had four children: Jennifer, Brenda, Timothy and Heather. Alice enjoyed music, dancing, helping to raise her grandchildren and great grandchildren with a light heart and a wooden spoon. She also enjoyed babysitting, sewing, socializing and a good joke. She is survived by her sister: Linda Coon of McFarland; her children: Dennis Mislivecek of Reedsburg, Jennifer (Donald) Denmen of Reedsburg, Brenda (Duane) Huffman of Reedsburg, Timothy Dunse and friend, Tish Pasch of Reedsburg, Heather Dunse of Lime Ridge, Allen (Jean) Dunse of LaValle, Jessica Abbeduto of Reedsburg, Rodger (Sandy) Dunse of Pennsylvania, Pam Loomis and friend, Gerry Drews of LaValle, Gladys (Charles) Cushman of Lodi, Kevin Dunse of Reedsburg and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Dunse; her parents, Albert (Slim) and Bertha Mislivecek; her brothers, Jim and Richard Mislivecek; her children, Ardell Dunse and Ronald Dunse; grandson-in-law: Chad Luke and her infant granddaughter: Ashley Huffman. For her last few years of her life, Alice lived at the Sauk County Health Care Center. She loved her life there and made a whole new family. A special thanks to everyone there who loved her when we were not always able to be there and a special thanks to Dr. Spencer Fast for his wonderful care. Funeral services for Alice Dunse will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, June 12, 2017 at the Hoof Funeral Home in Reedsburg with Deacon Ron Pickar officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home. The Hoof Funeral Home is serving the family.
