She laughed and smiled at the rambunctious play of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and traveling with Bob and friends. Survivors include her four children: Douglas (Linda) Blakeslee, of Reedsburg, Steven (LuAnn) Blakeslee, of Reedsburg, Richard (Barb) Blakeslee, of Reedsburg and Kathy Blakeslee (Joe Veit) of Baraboo; two grandchildren: Jessica (Brad) Williams and Derek (Lena) Blakeslee, both of Oregon WI; four great-grandchildren: Drew, Gavin, Finley and Paige; sisters-in-law: Evelyn LaRue of Belvidere, IL, Muriel Blakeslee of Reedsburg , Lorraine Grover of Reedsburg and special niece: Shirley Manville (Owen) of Ironton along with many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bob, five brothers: Robert, Ivan, Maurice, Jim and infant Jackie La Rue: and three sisters: Angie Gibeaut, Alice Scott and Madelyn McFarland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 11:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Reedsburg with Father David Carrano officiating.
