Curt R. Neumann, age 42, of Hillpoint, died unexpectedly on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at his home. He was born on December 21, 1975 in Reedsburg, the son of Rollie Neumann and Carole (Zobel) Neumann. Curt was a 1994 graduate of Weston High School and he also graduated from MATC with a degree in Recreational Management. He was employed at Sand Ridge Correctional Facility as a correctional officer. Curt was an incredibly talented landscape artist and shared his gift with many in the twelve years he worked for Big John's Landscaping. He was also the owner of Neumann's Bar in Hill Point and thoroughly enjoyed being around his many friends there. Curt had an infectious laugh and smile that lit up any room. He loved fishing with his brothers, the Milwaukee Brewers and the time he spent with Summer Thompson. Curt was deeply loved by all who knew him and will be dearly missed. Survivors include his mother: Carole Neumann (Mark Muchow), of Hill Point; his father: Rollie Neumann (Sharon Schulte) of Hill Point; three brothers: Craig (Yvonne) Neumann, of Hill Point; Corey (Dana) Neumann, of Reedsburg and Chad (Liz) Neumann, of Cedar Hill, MO; nephews and niece: Cody, Colton, Shelby, Carter and Croye Neumann; other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Ray and Carolyn Zobel; and his paternal grandparents: Pete and Helen Neumann. Private family services will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hill Point with Pastor Tim Anderson officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Paul Lutheran Church would be appreciated. The Hoof Funeral Home in Reedsburg is serving the family.
