Kathleen A. Nobbs, age 81, of Loganville, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at University Hospital in Madison. She was born on January 26, 1937 in Reedsburg, the daughter of Philip and Esther (Stolte) Thieding. Kathleen was a 1955 graduate of Webb High School in Reedsburg. On May 7, 1960, she was married to Robert W. Nobbs. Together they operated the Thieding family farm. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Loganville. Kathleen enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, watching and feeding the birds and feeding her baby calves. Survivors include her four children: Duane Nobbs, of Loganville; Virginia (James Jr.) Kruschke, of Reedsburg; Dennis (Heather) Nobbs, of Hampshire, Illinois and Linda (Brett) Cunningham, of Reedsburg; six grandchildren: Dayna (Drew) Wood, James (Lila) Kruschke III, Zach Cunningham, Olivia Nobbs, Ashley Cunningham and Aidan Nobbs; four great grandchildren: Archer and Lochlyn Wood; Allison and Austin Kruschke; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, on February 19, 2013; her grandson: Philip Kruschke; her parents and her sister: Eleanor Thieding. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 10, 2018 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Loganville with Pastor Donald Glanzer officiating. Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service on Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Peter's Lutheran Church would be appreciated. The Hoof Funeral Home is serving the family.
