On June 25, 1966, he was married to the former Mary E. Bayer. He worked for many years as a security guard for the Olin-Matheson Corporation. He enjoyed hunting, reading and helping his brother, Willis, on the farm. Danny was a true Wisconsin sportsman following the Milwaukee Brewers, Green Bay Packers and the Wisconsin Badgers. Most of all, he cherished the time spent with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife: Mary; four children: Tim Mueller, of Eau Claire; Tammy (Eric) Pipkin, of Jefferson; Angela (Karey) Bigham, of Elroy and David (Jennifer) Mueller, of LaValle; nine grandchildren: Mara, Jenna, Tanner, Cassie, Hunter, Austin, Kaleb, Emma and Andrew; his brother: Willis (Barbara) Mueller, of LaValle; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers: Ben, Harold, Hilmore and Robert; and his sister: Phyllis Mueller. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 4, 2019, at Zion Lutheran Church in LaValle with Pastor Robert Butler officiating. Interment with military honors will be in the Oak Lawn Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the Hoof Funeral Home in Reedsburg and after 10:00 A.M. on Thursday at the church.
