Arnold F. Schrank, age 95, of Reedsburg, died peacefully on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 in his home. He was born on December 28, 1924 in the Township of Reedsburg, the son of Henry W. and Rose (Ziech) Schrank. Arnie was a 1943 graduate of Reedsburg High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army-Air Force serving during the Korean Conflict. On September 20, 1958, he was married to the former Dorothy L. Fish. Arnie worked for Held Construction for six years and later for Friede Brothers Construction Company for twenty-nine years. He was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and served on several boards. Survivors include two sons: Todd (Penny) Schrank, of Reedsburg and Gary Schrank, of Reedsburg; two grandsons: Joshua (Jessica) Fleming, of Reedsburg and Cody Schrank, of Arkansas; three great-grandchildren: Trinidy Fleming, Lileyanne Fleming and Oliver Schrank; his friends at Maple Ridge; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy, on February 27, 2020; one sister: Elderene (Harvey) Brooks; one great-grandson: Gunner Fleming in 2017; one brother: Gilbert Schrank; four sisters-in-law: Dorothy Schrank, Loretta Schrank, Irene (Bill) Alexander and Ruth Lake as well as one brother-in-law: Donald (Marjorie) Fish. A private family graveside service will be held in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery in Reedsburg with Pastor Paul Crolius officiating. Memorials to St. Peter's Lutheran Church would be appreciated. A special thanks to Agrace and to his personal caregivers: Richelle and Esther. The Hoof Funeral Home is serving the family.
